Like I said before about Avira, maybe Vipre knows it isn't a real virus and ignores it. However, I don't think that this inspires much confidence![]()
Agreed, however I have done many other tests, posted in other Threads where VIPRE has failed. At this point I will not recommend it and would tell people to completely avoid it. On a special test machine the machine has become infected 8 times so far with VIPRE installed. Installing another AV and disabling VIPRE will clean up the machine. Lay down a fresh image and start all over with another AV and everything is caught, so far only VIPRE is failing all the tests we have thrown at it.
