Narrow columns in Libraries - unused space

Hi. I have three columns in my Libraries but there's a lot of free space (red brush on pic). I'd like to have much space between directories to see full names of these dirs. How to do it?



And I'd like to have something like this



ps Why is the same type of displaying elements in Libraries use to all of theme?
