Title: Excellent monitor, with one main problem Date: March 21, 2010
Product Uses: software development and testing

Review:The touch technology is as expected based on others I have played with (Sony, HP). I bought this for the sole purpose of testing multi touch applications, and it is working great for that purpose. It is a great looking monitor with an excellent crisp and vivid picture. The main con is that it is massivly reflective. Even in a dark room, I can see my own face from the light the monitor gives off. I imagine this is to make the coating so your fingers glide on it easily, but that is just a guess. I'd give it 5 stars if it were not so reflective.

Because it is reflective, I would not want it to be my primary monitor. However, you must note that if it is a second monitor (as in 2 of 2 in the display settings), the touch software will register your touches only on monitor #1 of 2. That is frustrating. So when I really need the touch, I go into the display settings and make it the primary monitor (1 of 2) insted of the second. 11 of 11 people found this review helpful.

Just this side of fast enough.
I'm interested in buying this monitor, but I want to mount it on a wall... can anyone please tell me if
1. There is some way to do it ?
2. The stand can be separated from the monitor?

Ps. Sorry for my english!

Thanks

Well that stinks. I see no reason for Dell not to allow it on display 2/2.

From what I can tell it has no wall-mount ability and the stand is apart of it. Could be wrong.

It is not designed for wall mounting.

Creative application of duct tape might work.

Or a shelf mounted to wall studs.
