Here's the skinny. Recently installed Windows 7 on my extra HDD to make sure I liked it before getting rid of XP. Install goes off without a hitch. Once I'm in I slow speeds when navigating TO a website, but once on the website, it navigates just fine. So I download Chrome and try it, still no luck. At the bottom left I see 'Resolving host...' and search for a fix to it. I disable the DNS prefetching option in chrome and click off automatically detect settings in the LAN settings on IExplorer.
So everything goes good except for this, so I decide it might work better to format the XP HDD and just install a clean Windows 7 with no dual boot. Here I am, with the exact same problem. Has anyone had any trouble like this that could lend some assistance?
Running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
