Acer shortcuts not working on win 7, please HELP

I have a acer SK-9610 keyboard, and it has shortcut keys but it doesn't work what can I do? Must I install a driver?

You must install the keyboard manager from Acer site call "Launch Manager":

Search in the list your model then pick-up the driver.

It should be Dritek Driver v2.0.0.5, but i saw that it is only for Vista... so install in compatibility mode:

I have only found the Acer Aspire 9510 model:

So it is the driver for the Desktop Brand...not the Acer one you need!

What's the Brand? Gigabyte?

Check before the box "Show all models" and then go to "Application" Tab.

Make a screenshot.

EDIT:

Looks the Keyboard driver is missing in the list.

So, you'll have to dig in your own computer the drivers needed.
Have you something in your Acer Programs that can help you restoring those drivers?

I'm afraid you'll lost those drivers if you have made an upgrade from Vista to 7 x32bits or a clean install from 7....Might you try another driver from Acer site from another desktop similar to yours, and see if it's working?.

Maybe go in your "Device Manager" and Check the listed "keyboard" driver...then update the pilote driver.

Humm, something is wrong...:sarc: Did you had a closer look in your device manager? Check the tab "Show hidden peripherals"

EDIT: Maybe unplug the keyboard and reboot...this will automated the install if its recognize the keyboard.

Okay, at least you see the keyboard...That's mean you need now, the original manufacturer keyboard launcher to makes those shortcut keys to work.

Or, what you can do when you're in the device manager, is to update the pilote driver again but instead choose "looks in my computer" and uncheck the box "show compatible hardwares" and try to find in the list which one is the manufucturer driver's best (looks Acer veriton for you).
