Change textual processor information on windows 7 - is it possible?

Is it possible to change
the textual processor information on Windows 7, that that's written on
Control Panel
System and Security
System.

It reads: Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) 9650 Quad-Core Processor 2.31 GHz

I'd want it to say AMD Phenom(tm) 9950 Quad-Core Processor 2.5 GHz
without actually changing the physical processor of course.

Can I do anything about it?

Because when I bought the machine I ordered a 9950 processor and each time I see the 9650 it gets me annoyed. It's a simple personal issue that I have with the processor number.

If you ordered 9950 but got 9650, why not return it? As PoorMan UK stated, you can change it... but I'm not sure if it wll persist after restart...

Open an elevated Command Prompt:

ChangeCPUName.bat <Enter>
Exit <Enter>

Neat, the bat file didn't run fine for some reason but the code guided me to the registry editor, how simple it actually was.

Now the processor's speed I don't have an idea if it can be changed as well, with the registry editor also?
