Not showing all RAM in Win7 Ultimate 32-bit

Hi every one,
nice job.
Today,I installed a 2 GB RAM on my laptop,and now,it has 2.5 GB of RAM,but in windows,just 2GB is available(The CPU is 1.8 Celeron M).
I should note that I have not installed a new copy of windows,yet to check whether all of ram will be available or not.
Could you help me?

It's possible the rest of your RAM is being used by your graphics card.

What is the full model number of your Satellite A135? Depending on what it is, it may only support up to 2 GB total. Here are the specs for two of them (direct links to Toshiba's servers),

The first only supports up to 2 GB total, and the second supports up to 4 GB.

Yes,but just 256 MB is used by the graphic card.

What "Windows" do you have ? Because "Windows 7 Starter Edition" only supports 2 Gb of RAM.

(But with a kernel patch all Windows 7 32 bit versions can use up to 64 Gb of RAM)
