Anyone get Intel 855GM to work
I know...stupid question but thought I'd ask anyway.
Lenovo x40, Intel 855GM/GME onboard graphics. Win7 prefers it's own default, generic vga driver. No Vista versions that I can find on Intels site.
Has anyone used these on Vista and exported them? If so, willing to share?
Thanks!
btw; Win7 running terrific on this little *******;
Pentium M, 1.4Ghz, 1.25 gb ram and a slow as he!! hd.

Welcome to the forums! Just as a quick note, I don't think that kind of language is used here. Just a heads up.
Anyway, I think your graphics are a little too old to have Vista drivers. You could try installing their XP drivers in compatibility mode, but for the most part, just stick with the generic drivers. They work perfectly fine.

its incompatible
Intel 855GM/GME onboard graphics, I have the same and tried to install even the latest driver from intel. Driver update works fine but after a reboot, it rolled back to generic automatically. Perhaps due to memory capacity it is not supported, working fine on generic though.
