:sarc:Please advise. :sarc:I am running Microsoft Security Essentials and that is all. I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Should I be running any thing else such as a maleware program?? If so which one do you recommend and how do you install. Thanks again for all your help and cooperation.
Sincerely,
Rottikid:D

You should use malwarebytes
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware: Malwarebytes

Make sure that your Windows Firewall is activated.

If you are not happy with the Windows Firewall (activate from control panel) let us know and we will suggest others.

I agree. Malwarebytes is all you need alongwith MSE. If you use the free version, be sure to update and scan regularly with it.

Do you mean the profile at the forum or computer?

How do I set signatures, avatars and profile pictures?
You can set and change your signature, avatar and profile picture in the User Control Panel (providing the administrator has made these options available).
For signatures, click on 'Edit Signature' under the 'Settings and Options' area of the navigation bar within the User CP.
To select an existing or upload a new avatar, click on 'Edit Avatar'.
To upload a profile picture, click on 'Edit Profile Picture' in the 'Your Profile' section.

If it fails it is too large (too many kb or just too many pixels), I had the same problem.

The profile pic and the post pic are different. You have to download two.

The Avatar (post pic) is done from user cp (avatar pic) The profile pic is done from user cp, profile pic.

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 100.0 KB (whichever is smaller).

don´t apologize !
it was only a suggestion, so you could get better help....:)

if you create a new thread named fx. "Fake MSE-alert", then you get more attention from those that can help you....

if you post in this old thread, perhaps a lot of people doesn´t see it, because they are just looking for new threads.
