Wow...we just had a really good one here. Biggest one I've felt yet...thought I might have to get downstairs cause everything was moving. Initial reports are a 5.9, but it felt stronger than that here.

More of a rolling and side-to-side motion here -- not terribly intense. Glad my daughters didn't feel it...

@Blackrose MD1: the map shows it was not too far from the Salton Sea, so you would have felt it much more there than here.

It's been downgraded to a 5.4. Sure seemed stronger than that.

Yep that one wasn't bad, woke me up a lil I guess. I agree Doc, rolling motion and pretty long, close to a minute. On to the next one....

It was the worst one here (Escondido) in the last few years by far.

Could see the house shaking and everything inside ratttled loudly.

THe weirdest thing about it was it came with it's own surround sound! A large dull roar, Both "hits". I don't ever remember hearding a quake before accopanied by it's own sound before.

One of the advantages to living in a high rise, I guess...get to feel the swaying a little more.

I remeber a couple of years ago one hit while I was at work and I thought that a train was passing by outside (and there are train tracks literally across the street from my office)
