Hello there

I have a ATI RADEON X550 installed in my Windows 7, and seems that is works fine, but when I try to run a video editor software (convertx to dvd to be exactly) Windows 7 shut down and appears the "blue screen of death".
There is no driver for windows 7 for this graphic card, only for windows vista, please help!! Because even with that driver my problem persist and I have the same problem if I install the driver with windows update.

Hi oscardaniel, Welcome to the Forum

This would seem to me to be a problem with the software, have you tried installing/starting it in compatibility mode? you may also have to select run as Administrator.

I hope this helps

Hi Pooch, thanks for the quick answer, I tried to installed the software with compatibily in Windows XP and Windows Vista, and I cant install it, I believed the software is not the problem, because I take out the graphic card from my PC and everything is working, even my video software, also my problem shows up when I was watching videos from my collection and streaming videos too, I thought that happens because I was using a lot my graphic card :p

You take the graphic card out and the PC still works?
Then you have onboard graphics working. What Mobo do you have?
