BIOS on Sony computers and Intel Speedstep

Sony disables something in the BIOS that prevents the Intel Speedstep being used.

Is there any that can be done to enable the BIOS feature that will allow the use of the Intel Speedstep.

Probably not, and if you did it would probably void the warranty.
