What price should I ask for this?

Well my upgrade should be completed by tomorrow so I will have my old hardware available for sale. However I have no idea what to even expect for it so if anyone has any ideas please let me know. I know we all live in different countries but I always find when I do the conversion prices come out very close to what we pay this side anyway. My MB is only around 2 month old (exchanged on warranty ) the rest around 18 month old. So this is what I have

MB looks like they are running around $100 plus 4Gig RAM I wonder if $200 would be a reasonable amount to ask for it all?

A lot of those CPU's appear to boxed/new chips - used ones will fetch a lower price.

However for a CPU, mobo, RAM combo - even used, $150-$200 wouldn't be all that unreasonable to ask, but I'd be prepared to accept lower than $150 since it is 'used' and essentially EOL (End of Life) technology.

If you doing it one ebay, make a buy it now price of $200 (or whatever you want for it) and a starting bid of $115. Then even if you can't get $200, you get something reasonable, and you might even get someone who doesn't feel like watching the item and just give you the $200. Either way, you win.

My sugestion is to research ebay and see what others are getting for thiers. Auction style costs less to post your item for sale. This is how I have figured out what to expect for items I have sold on ebay and have over 330 sales. Fabe

A guy in the office want to take it off my hands need to give him a price in few hours time. I basically just want to recover a bit but also not rip him off. I think anything under $150 I may as well just keep and build up another box as all I would need would be a graphics card.

Motherboard? $25 Very old chipset also 4 years old.
RAM? $75 DDR2 4GB used but RAM went up in value.

I'd say $150 for parts but if sold as one maybe $110.

My MB is a month or two old the rest around 18 month still all under warranty, this is why I am not that keen to just give it away may be worth more just to build up another PC with it all and sell it as a PC.
