Sorry on DP... I installed TVR 3.0 0r something that came on CD... and now remote works only for that program... i hold ON button program turns on I turn volume up it works... but not in MCE...

Re-run the Media Center wizard and see if you get lucky.

For what it's worth, my experience with Media Center and remotes is that it is very picky. On the other hand, my main problem was getting it to play along with my cable box. The remotes I have work fine for browsing pictures and whatnot.
