My computer restarts once everytime I turn it on (BSOD, DUMPLOG)

Ok as the title says my computer restarts but only once every time i turn it on, after that it runs fine and does not restart again until I shut down and turn it on again the next day. This is very peculiar, I would appreciate any help or suggestions as to what the problem may be. Oh yeah my BIOS also stated to try turning down RAM speed if that has anything to do with it.. and there's no BSOD, no events in the event viewer. It just restarts once it hits the password screen then when it restarts everything is stable.

My Computer Specs.

- AMD Phenom II x2 555
- Bio-star TA870+
- Corsair 4gb DDR 3 Dual Channel 1333mhz
- EVGA GTS 250 512MB
- Hitachi 750gb H/D
- Cooler Master 500W eXtreme power

let me know if you need anymore info!

Does it do the same thing if on first boot you enter safe mode (F8)? Have you checked both the application tab, and system tab in event viewer?

If there is nothing in eventvwr then it must be a "normal" event. Even those are listed in eventvwr. Can you take a snip of the events adjacent to the time of the first boot and upload it to us?

Let us know if you need further assistance

I havent tried loading in safe mode yet, maybe tomorrow since this only happens when I shut down for awhile e.g when im sleeping and turn it back on. I tried shutting down and turning it back on right after and it works with no problems. Pretty weird...

Not really much in the event viewer but i'll list it

EDIT: Wow, first time in awhile since I got a BSOD, more coincidentally, while I was typing this! I'll upload dumplog right now + the error i got was :

We do seem to have a discrepency here. the DMP file is not named MEMORY.DMP, and shows other causes than the bugcheck, and DMP file uploaded.

Which is which?

The bug check listed above (0xfffffffc0000005) is a memory exception. The one listed is a system thread exception. Both point to a device driver.

You have several really old drivers as listed below as Jan suggested. You should update them and please straighten out the memory.dmp vs. the dated minidump.

Code:
RTCore64.sys fffff880`056e1000 fffff880`056e7000 0x00006000 0x42941d90 5/25/2005 02:39:12
Rtnic64.sys fffff880`03b45000 fffff880`03b59000 0x00014000 0x47f0791a 3/31/2008 01:39:38
spldr.sys fffff880`015be000 fffff880`015c6000 0x00008000 0x4a0858bb 5/11/2009 12:56:27

Thanks Ken for the reply, but yeah I got 2 BSOD, but it gave me only 1 mini dump. One was 3B and one was 7E, I remember. I have no idea why but event viewer gave me only 1 Error which was that. I'm really confused and frustrated about this.. its all new hardware. I'll try to update the drivers right now.

Also I would like to point out that the two files are indeed matching files.

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000007e (0xffffffffc0000005, 0xfffff800029af0f3, 0xfffff88002fe78b8, 0xfffff88002fe7120). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 081410-15662-01.

I uploaded 081410-15662-01.rar

That's just the minidump, the actual MEMORY.DMP file is about 239MB.

Grat so the dated memory DMP which I analysed before has some old drivers that needed updating. And the (C00000005) is a memory exception.

If memtest was run on the individual sticks, and a known stick in each mobo slot, are you overclocking, undervolting, running a raid, etc?

Yup, I tested every stick in their individual slot and all passed. My drivers I have updated most, a few I cant because I cant find the driver online or it says it doesn't need updating. Nope not doing any overclocking at all just leaving BIOS at default, is it because my mobo is not compatible with the ram sticks I have? Because the M/B website gives me a list which is compatible with it. And today I tried turning it on got stuck at windows loading screen, had to restart, black screen didnt want to boot up no display, restarted 3-4 times at 20 sec intervals, then it booted up again, BIOS offered to lower DRAM pressed ok to continue, and then windows sent me off to repair and said it cannot repair it manually. checked event viewer now 0 logged in no errors or anything. It's stable after the first few unsuccessful boot (which is right now)

Any suggestions?

Edit actually I have found the answer.. and it actually does match my situation right now as i have the exact same model. Got it off a review off newegg.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145278

Code:
when i built the system for a client, it would freeze up on 3dmark06
it would also freeze during most any game
after the ram passed memtest, it seemed like a video card issue to me
so, i rma'ed the video card:

not too long after the computer started having this strange problem of always saying "windows did not shut down properly" every time it was left off for over 4 hours
again, i ran memtest on the ram: passed
i then tested it with the same program in my machine: passed

so, i thought the only thing that could be responsible was the mobo or the power supply
i ripped the power supply out of my comp, used it on his rig: did the same thing
so, i rma'ed the mobo, and got a replacement: still had the same problem

that meant it was either the ram or the cpu, but the nature of a bad cpu didn't correlate at all with these problems; so, i googled "can ram pass memtest and still be bad"... turns out it can; and it was

having the exact same issue

never a blue screen, but 4 days now in a row when i get to the login screen, it just flashes off... and restarts, no color, no description of the error, just powers down as if someone pulled the power cord from the PC. after that little ordeal, the pc boots up just fine.
i have done no hardware updates to this machine
