Anyone else hyped for this game? to me i think this is going to be the best one to date... seeing how the last 2 or 3 were "decent". Chase or be chased :p

My fav NFS(s) was the underground series and most wanted. Shift i never played but by the way it looks.. it looks okay, it just doesn't look like a real NFS to me. Prostreets also okay...

But as for the new Hot Pursuit should check out the trailers (i use gamestop), as for the system req. i wouldn't know i game on Xbox 360.

Finally the classic NFS style, High stakes/ Hot pursuit chases are coming back! I think this is going to be new-old classic, which will be "must have". Looking forward. :)

P.S. NFS Shift with Overhaul mod (reworked physics, real sim-racing style) is pretty interesting and enjoyable thing, but only with that massive physics mod.

I started playing the NFS Games back when the original Hot Pursuit was launched back in 1998. I'm definitely looking forward to the new NFS Hot Pursuit as it will be a welcome refresh to the series. The Underground refresh was a change that I sort of liked but at the same time missed the old feel to NFS, particularly the cops and the exotic cars. Most Wanted brought it back and Carbon kept it and those were fun games. ProStreet was interesting as an experiment and all in all a good game albeit not nearly as popular. Undercover was basically Most Wanted 2 and served its purpose as such and I liked it. Shift I have only tried but have not played it very much and it seems good in terms of realism.

My favorite game in the NFS series to this day though, and I certainly enjoyed Hot Pursuit, High Stakes, and Hot Pursuit 2 but my favorite was Porsche Unleashed. I wish they would make another game like that again. But this new Hot Pursuit seems very promising to bring back the old feel, let's hope they don't ruin it by adding a corny story to it or something.

The only thing that sucks on my end is most the people I know aren't into racing games at all, they only do FPS and Action games online. Good to know I'm not the only one who digs racing games.

I wasn't into racing games before. well atleast diff racing ones but i've always like the NFS series. I seen something on softpedia an article where i think a guy from the battlefield series is working on it also. I didn't read the whole thing just skimmed it..on the story i believe they worked/made a great story be they even started on the details/graphics etc.. i think i played NFS:HP2 wasn't that also on n64? lol.

Carbon i didn't like at all except the cars of course.. i just wish they did like an underground 3 or something next..but as for the new Hot Pursuit i bet that this game won't let anyone down.

I think Porsche Unleashed was a bit underappreciated in its time but going back and playing it now, it's still a blast.

I think I'll have to break out my Porsche Unleashed CD and play through that game again. First time I played it was 10 years ago ... damn, I feel old now.
