Today I tweaked windows 7 services using BlackViper's website and I can see some increase in performance. For example, my reboot time is reduced by 8-10 secs.

You realize that boot time is not an indicator performance? What does not load during bootup must load sometime if you are using it. So you are really just swapping the time you have to wait. Of course, trimming unnecessary starting items is a good thing.

Earlier, at idle, my PC used around 1.21GB RAM, now its using around 900 MB at idle. So I guess there wre many unwanted services that were eating the RAM.

Kay Jewlers in AZ. has been very good. They can pull up our records for the past 20 years. They even did duplicate receipts all the way back for a burglary for the police report. I would contact the corporate office.

A chain store cannot afford to have its reputation damaged by a single store manager. So Doc's suggestion holds good promise for you to reach a resolution. A letter and email to the Kay Corporate Office, done with respect and including the reports of the other jewelers who inspected the diamond gives them the tools they need. They could even revoke the franchise if this store manager is violating Kay policy.

Speaking out, you would be doing Kay a public service. No successful company can ignore that (even though greedy and misguided individuals might).

Pretty regular day today but tomorrow I'm taking two of the schizophrenic guys I work with to see an exhibition of Picasso's work in Liverpool. Apparently it's the biggest ever collection of his work.
We're going by public transport (about an hour and a half) and they get to organise the journey and choose where we eat etc.
When you've been in a secure hospital unit for ten years this is a real big deal for them. Pity about the current weather here but I'm really looking forward to it

We were asked by the Wheat Montana Farms. to plant some specialty winter wheat for them at our farm(not the ranch), we will think about it

The reason i bring this up is Wheat Montana Farms has also made its way into the Guiness Book of World Records for cutting, milling, mixing and baking a loaf of bread in 8 minutes and 13 seconds!

talk about fast food!!! i wonder if it was eatable?
