Today I tweaked windows 7 services using BlackViper's website and I can see some increase in performance. For example, my reboot time is reduced by 8-10 secs.
You realize that boot time is not an indicator performance? What does not load during bootup must load sometime if you are using it. So you are really just swapping the time you have to wait. Of course, trimming unnecessary starting items is a good thing.
