i'm currently downloading this game,

chronicles of riddick: assualt on dark athena

and i was wondering if anyone tried it on windows 7 and if it worked on which build and 32 bit or 64 bit?

i am running build 7068 32 bit (x86)

there is no crack out and there wont be for a long time the other game that had this protection either still isnt cracked or took a few months to crack but i mean i guess u can dl to have it thats what i did

sorry about that, wont happen again but techniacly speaking he could be talking about downloading his legally backed up disk from one of his other computers. cracks are legal if you own the game. anyway im being a smart ass, so ill just stop now

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is available for purchased (legal) download at Direct2Drive for $40.00 I have tried it on windows7 build7068 and it will not install ~ LastDLLError 1407, Description Cannot find window class. error report has been send to microsoft Hoping for a solution.

What is the game like Captain Zero. I have been thinking of getting it but I have heard it is kak(not good). I don't want to waste time nor money if I am just going to sell it again.

The first 5-10 minutes didn't hold my interest. It gave me the impression it was going to be really repetitive. I could be wrong, just an impression. The graphics were nothing impressive, the AI, meh.. and.. well, Vin is tolerable in movies, I just can't listen to that voiceover all the time. Why so serious?

I may give it another shot when I have the time. For now, I'm still looking for something that will push my system and hold my interest.

You most definitely do need to do a fresh install of build 7100. There were plenty of games that needed to be messed about with for them to be just installed with the beta(gta iv, fifa 09, undercover etc). I bet you it will go on if you update your os.

Zero, it will be a while before games catch up with your system, lol. Nice.

I think I will pass on dark athena. He has the same kind of seriousness in Wheelman (which is totally sh*t).

ive got it running perfect on 7100 64, already beat the butcher bay and am like 1-2 hours into the dark athena part. i love it but have to say butcher bay is a faaaaaar better game then dark athena luckily it came with both. btw the u no what is out to play it without a you no what

Also when I said upgrade I never meant for that to be the path you chose. I mean't upgrade but also custom install(clean).

Hope you managed to sort it though.

Yes I did and thank you, I did the upgrade the windows7 hex edit, it gives the instructions on there website and I was not aware of it until i tried to upgrade and it took me there so thanks I would have waited to upgrade but now i have 7100 on my gaming PC as well.

Well i have a problem with RTM build and this game. It worked fine on 7127 but now i cant even install it without message popping up saying driver blocked due to compatibility issues: IT IS THE TAGES DRIVER that are blocked. I can proceed installing the game but it does not work. It then says that the TAGES driver must be run as admin( which i am). Tried all compatibility modes. Any help will be appreciated.

Same problem, got RTM too. A driver is blogged during installation, when i want to start the game after installing an error windows pops up and it tells me i have to run as administrator the first time i run it. Tried to start the .exe as administrator, but still the same error. If you could somehow really run it as administrator maybe you can repair and install teh driver.
Any ideas?
