I just recently made a clean install of Win Ultimate 64 bit on this laptop which had Win Vista Business before and now the web cam does not work at all.
I tried downloading and installing the web cam driver straight from the Sony support site in compatibility mode and nothing happens. I tried installing the drivers for the web cam fro both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of 7 and still nothing. It just keeps saying that I can't connect to the web cam.
The driver for the web cam is called Arch soft Web companion, and I even tried to install CyberLink You Cam and still nothing. Skype and other messenger programs can't use it either.
Any help would be really appreciated
