Hi all!

Last time everything was okay with my windows, but today, when I switched on my pc, I got BSOD 0x0000007b 0xFFFFF880009A9928 0xffffffffc0000034 etc. on quite early in the startup procedure. I reseted the machine and then the advanced boot screen was there as usual, at least I was able to select an option and start it, but I didn't see anything! I was navigating blindly in the menu, the screen was completely black (but the screen was on). I started safe mode, the same bsod again. I start startup recory, but as soon as it started, it freezed completely. No keyboard or mouse interaction, even if I pressed the Caps Lock button, the led didn't turned off or on. I've got PS/2 keyboard, so it's not an USB problem. I tried the setup disc, but again this strange freeze. I cleared the CMOS, tried the pc without HDD, and tried some BIOS settings, but no result. I don't know if it's a software or hardware failure, but as far as I remember, I didn't do anything special with my pc last time (but I was abroad for a month, so it was a long time ago).
I really don't know what to do, I hope someone will help me!

Update:
I tried a Win 7 Live CD and only black screen again. Then I tried an XP Live CD, and it works, but only in 4bit color mode and it doesn't recognize my video card at all. Btw the Win 7 recovery and install was also in 4bit. Maybe a GPU failure? My HDD is okay.

Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
Memory Diagnostics (read the details at the link)
HD Diagnostic (read the details at the link)

STOP 0x7B usually relates to a problem with your hard drive. If it passes the diagnostics, please post back and we'll have to try MBR repair (and other things).

The symptoms seem to indicate a conflict with something you already had installed. Can you extract any files from the problem computer? If yes, can you grab the following files and can you post them:

C:\Windows\MINIDUMP - find files with the same date/time as the BSOD

C:\WindowMEMORY.DMP - if the file exists...:geek:

I solved this problem. I don't know exactly what was it, but I checked all cables and plugs, took out and put in the memory modules, etc., and everything was perfect. So this was some really strange error.
