Ok I'll write down what I did. Download and open Phoenix (you can find all the needed links in the tutorial) Click on the ''Extract registry EDID" button on the toolbar in the program. Now you have your EDID. Click on all the tabs and see what's there, most of the information was unknown to me, but on the Standard Timings Tab I found that my native resolution was listed, so I think this is what you should be looking for. You can also open Moninfo and check the information there as well, check with your manafacturer's site info like Horizontal Scan Range, Vertical Scan Range, Video Bandwidth, Native/Preffered Timing (all those are in Moninfo). I don't know if those are relative to the problem, but I did those checks just to be sure that my EDID was correct. It turned out that it was correct, so I didn't edit anything in Phoenix. If this is your case, save the EDID to a .dat file in Phoenix, then open the file you just saved in Moninfo, then from the File menu select Create INF and save it somewhere. Then go to device manager, select the monitor and using the Have Disk method, choose the file you created for driver. After a reboot the problem was gone in my case. And another thing I want to say is that I was prepared to take any risks doing all this stuff, so if you feel unsure or you think you might break something it's better to find someone do it for you if you think this will solve your problem. I hope you succeed. Good Luck.
