    proper driver update

    Hello

    I do that:
    1. Uninstall driver
    2. remove what left with driver sweeper
    3. Reboot and try to install new driver BUT win7 automatically find their stock driver for 7600GT and installs it, damn it.
Maybe I don't need to do that anymore?
    So, my question is:
What are the proper way to update video card drivers in windows 7?

hi rookalius and welcome to sevenforums,

i don't quite understand your problem.

what happens if you try installing the new driver after the stock drivers get installed?

If I install the new one without uninstalling the curent driver, then everything installs fine. But there are some previous driver files left, maybe it is not important.

There won't be any leftovers ii you reinstall a driver, instead the new driver is going to overwrite all of the old driver files so don't worry about it...

Once you download your drivers from Nvidia and install them, you'll be fine.
