    Hi and welcome

You have posted on a long dead thread. Usually it is better to start your own as you will get lots more help if you do.

In terms of the PCI info take the clipped date and plug it into google. you will be shown the mfr and can go there to get the driver necessary for your cord/chipset.

let us know if you need additional help with installing the driver.

Go over to Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers and choose Geforce, then Geforce 8M series (notebooks) and then your system and you should receive correct drivers.

Remember always to download drivers for nvidia from nvidia's site, and for ati from ati/amd's site, and for intel chipsets use intel's site, that way you are sure to get right up-to-date drivers.

Try updating your drivers from here:

Well, that's exactly what i mean, don't use any other sites, they might give correct drivers but may be out of date.

Your chipset is intel PM965 which means if you need updates for that you should go http://downloadcenter.intel.com/defa...me_downloadctr
and find chipset driver or some sort for PM965.

    edit: no offense though

Actually Theog is right. For Laptop drivers you should use the OEM website not the Chipset manufacturors. OEM's change the drivers slightly, and it causes incompatibilitys. Often websites won't even let you download the generic drivers if it detects you have a laptop
