    Monitor resolution issue

I have a samsung sync master 2043 nw monitor on an amd r7 250 2gb ddr5 128 bit video card. I checked the monitor's specs and the horizontal and veritcal resolutions are 1680 and 1050. For some reasons I can't set the monitor resolution or ingame resolution higher than 1248x1024. I have all the drivers installed and up to date

    Any solutions?
    Thank you!

When googling your model it shows your model/nwx everywhere so I think your model is a region specific sku and as such is the same internals. Just uninstall it if you have issues but from my research its worth a shot for it to understand your native res.

And one more thing. When I disable "only display modes that your computer can display", from 1248x1024 60 hz it gives me the extra option of 1920x1024 30 hz. Does this info help?

You might be able to force that resolution in CCC (Catalyst Control Center) AMD's driver in the custom resolution area, I don't know if it works for VGA though. Can you post a picture of the CCC you have installed, and your device manger please?

Yeah that's it, pick new then only change the stuff in base mode and put 1680x1050 and 60hz and hit apply and see if your monitor says its out of range or not. It should bring up a window that says if you cant see this screen it will revert in like ten seconds or something to that effect. EDIT: wait, the triangle on your monitor driver in device manger if you right click and hit properties what does it say is wrong with it?
