i've just installed windows 7, a beta version
i think it has selected a rezolution that's too high for my monitor, so i can't see anything on screen, it just says "out of range"
i can't start it in safe mode until installation is complete, that means running it for the first time.
Any sugestions?
That shouldn't be the case, Windows chooses the Native resolution (the Best resolution), so you don't get this problem.
Have you tried to reinstall 7?
i've tried reinstalling, even a different version, still a beta, and the same thing happens.

That is strange. You might see if booting into the Advanced Boot Options screen (tapping F8 during boot), then selecting either Safe Mode or Enable Low Resolution Video (640 X 480) may allow you to boot into Windows 7 to check your screen resolution and refresh rate settings to make sure that they are correct for you monitor. While there you may also need to uninstall and/or install your video driver.
