    Harddrive enclosures

Hi everyone. I have a Western Digital Hard-drive that was in my old computer. I would like to buy an enclosure for it. Its interface is SATA; capacity is 80GB; RPM 7200. What kind of hard drive enclosure can I buy? I would like to use it as a backup medium. Any assistance will be appreciated. deanie

Tigerdirect and Newegg have a variety of enclosures. Just search for external hard drive enclosure.

I have 2 esata Rosewill enclosures w/ 1TB drives and am happy with them but would like to use Thermaltake Black X dock. just seems much easier. Look around the link P5bdkw gave, you'll have many choices.

You might consider a Hard Drive Doc. They are convienent, inexpensive, easily moved between systems and the drive will not be enclosed in a small oven. Not sure if you have USB3.0 on your system but if you do you might want to look at a doc that is USB3.0 ready.
