usb not working

    usb not working


    my usb game pad isnt working and need to know if its the actual gamepads error or something else or any diagnostic ways of fixing this error

    ive tried all the simple solution like uninstalling rebooting etc

    is there any more advanced trick s

    help would be ma-who-sively appreciated

    its the game pad (USB) driver. Not installed correctly

    Like always we need some more info.

    1. What brand/type gamepad?

    2. do other USB devices work ok?

    3. What driver are you using for the gamepad? Version and intended OS?

    4. Have you tried other USB ports?

    5. Are you connecting it to a USB hub, or directly in the computer?


    Oh, by the way, you made a typo in your specs. It says 60 watts PSU, I think that must be 600, right?

    its just a cheap anologue from game but cant find it in there store to post link even though i only had it couple of weeks

    other usb devices work

    i was using the driver what came with pad but windows 7 recognized it straight away and worked withought the driver cd

    yes ive tried different usb ports and a laptop with windows 7 onit with same results



    im thinking its fooked, but thought id see if theres a solution first...

    it was working fine

    then all i did was download game booster preparing for some serious gaming .then this happened.
    p.s. i dont have restore point

    Well I guess the reason it was so cheap is because it is old hardware they need to get rid of.

    I would look around for a more current model of a well known and well supported (read win7 drivers) brand.

    Your system deserves it, and so do you.

    it wasnt the cheapest one in there. i just bought because it matches my pc black and blue ,its basically just ps2 pad bought it couple of weeks ago cost £13. going to try and take it back tommoz if theres know fix..
    but i got know reciept but bought it using game card ,,so the bitches down there better swap it


    edit--- i was gonna get new cpu so dont want to pay for new controll pad
