WHS, I believe the Paragon tool will allow you to choose what data not to transfer and that data will still be on the original disk.
Yes Steve it does. But a) that is a messy operation and b) I would not want to leave it on the old C partition. Next thing you lnow, she is going to delete the old C partition and all data is gone.
If it is in a seperate data partition, all she has to do is to INCLUDE it into the appropriate library and she is done. I like to seperate my own folders from the system and program generated folders anyhow. And e.g. in Documents, you get a lot of automatically generated folders.
Alright well i did a clean install and everythings working fine it seems, much much faster as well.. Theres a problem though... when ever i go to the BIOS and try to set the thing to AHCI from IDE it gives me BSOD every time, so its currently back in IDE mode.. is that a problem?
Okay just followed the guide there to turn it on in the reg + bios and now its on and works.
