Yeah, it'll take a couple of day I think.

I love how some SSD's accually is getting beat by my 1Tb SSHD from Seagate ( in the tops. It loses when it comes to long term work becouse the SSD Runs out)
But you cant beat how stable ssd speeds are. Thoose are amazing

For the OS it is not the data transfer speed that counts but the random access time. And for that my SSDs are 130 times faster than my SSHD - 0.1ms versus 13ms.

Size does make a difference, but still...

Replaced this OCZ Vertex 3 128 GBs SSD:



With Samsung 840 Pro 256 GBs SSD:



Doing so, pretty much cut the access time to half. And that's with stock setting, without the rapid mode, that may or may not be activated.

I've got to replace my Intel 520 240 GBs SSD, it pails in comparison to Samsung 840 Pro. Especially the write speed:

Very good upgrade Cr00zng. I have an 840Pro and EVO and I'm happy with both. I think it's more to do with the Samsung multi-core controller and using their own NAND that makes them faster.
