I'm running my custom-built desktop with an ASUS M4A79T Deluxe AM3 DDR3 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard.

When I boot up the computer it displays, "Loading Asus Express Gate..."

The next screen gives me this error message:

EXPRESS GATE INSTALLATION IS INCOMPLETE.
VERSION-POST CODE: (L11209 - 8C000002)

Boot-up continues as normal after that. I have two questions:
1. What does this mean to my system?
2. How do I fix it?

Thanks!

The only thing I can think of is installing the dvd/cd that came with the motherboard and install the program again.

I tried flashing the BIOS a few weeks ago in case it was just an issue of it being out-of-date. But either I did something wrong or that was the wrong decision, because that lead to a BSOD problem that I then had to deal with, and obviously still didn't fix the Express Gate issue.

Optional "Fast Boot"

Asus Express Gate ("EG") is a "mini" Linux environment that boots fast and offers limited subset of functionality such as Web, Skype, IM, some broser games etc. (3-5 secs in fast system)

If you have configured your mobo to "non-IDE" mode (e.g. using mobo-RAID), the EG will not recognize your config and thus will not work. -pity, but don't ask me...-

You can disable the EG from BIOS or you can unistall it, but be aware, some models require a CMOS reset if you just uninstall the EG without disabling it from BIOS.
