you should make a back up image of your windows drive every month. Is your your harddrive going bad? If its a bad drive make a image of the old drive. replace the drive and re image the new drive. then repair should be able to fix the problem.

    Hi
I'm having a problem with startup-repair,I don't know why,but it's trying to 'repair' my 'problems'.
It runned 5 times already, and I can't start windows..After I press finnish on the setup,it shuts down, and when I turn it on again, the setup appeares once again, even if I choosed to "Start Windows normally".
    Anyone can help?
What should I do?[without reinstalling windows pls i know that option too,but i'm lazy to reinstall windows then linux too..]
P.S: Linux tells me,that my CPU is misconfigured, and some error with my graph card, but I didn't had any problems b4 with them..
LE: at the end of the scan,it tells me to remove any plugged cameras,mp3players,cellphones etc. , but only my mouse is plugged in USB ..

You should copy here what errors Window 7 is detecting and what is it doing to repair the problem. It should be saying something like "Bad bootmbr file" or something like that so we can know where the problem is coming from.

I had the same problem but none of the suggestions worked =/
Press the F8 key repeatedly at boot up or use the Startup disk.

    Try this:
    Safe Mode
    Startup Repair
Note: You may need to do startup repair 3 to 4 times.

    System Repair Disc - Create
    System Recovery Options
    System Restore
    Repair Install
    Partition - Mark as Active
How to use the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows Recovery Environment to troubleshoot and repair startup issues in Windows
Well I tried all the things, Boot option, Safe mode, etc. in every action startup screen throws me on STARTUP REPAIR window. And after performing StartUP repair I got message "Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically" sending more information can help Microsoft create solutions.
That's last thing I can see in my system after every time I restart my laptop.

    Details:
    HP Laptop
    Windows 7 32Bit OS

Please help to recover from the problem.
