Simply updating the bios does not mean the cpu will work, once again, the mb HAS TO SUPPORT the new cpu.
Find your board on the internet and see what cpu`s it will support. Usually this is done BEFORE you purchase any upgrades for your motherboard. ![]() |

We need the exact model as written on the pc case, giving the specs really won't help when looking for the latest bios update or upgrading the cpu.

Windows7 install issues with Gigabyte Hi, has anyone had installation issues when using Gigabyte based systems?
