I think that partition is for reinstalling Windows to the same state it was in when the computer was brand new, If you ever want to reinstall windows after you delete that partition you will need a Windows 7 DVD or USB.

If you still want to delete it here are a couple of Tutorials on how to do it
    Partition or Volume - Extend
    Partition or Volume - Delete

First you have to delete the partitions to get unallocated space. Then you should use the Partition Wizard to round up the pieces. Disk management will most likely not work in that case.

What unused space are you talking about ? The 2 partitions to the right of C ?

If so just delete them both and extend C to the right, as Wolfgang has suggested.
