A lifetime of data on it.

Found other posters here with the problem which led me to post. It was working fine and due to whatever it now doesn't show up in explorer.

It's a USB3. I tried on multiple computers and USB 1 and 2, running Win 8 and Win 7.

Shows up in device manager and shows up as usb. I can't get it to view in partition wizard or any other recovery program like testdisk that tries to view it.

I currently have it out of the case and attached internally. I had to add it with computer running since I can't access any jumper settings and computer won't boot with it installed.

BUT it shows up in disk management. Images attached.

Can I initialize but not format, will that help it show up in Partwizard so I can get at the data somehow to save?

For the love of God HELP please...

Kevin

I saw you can buy another drive and replace the chip board to the new drive to see if it can be read if it's a board failure. Wonder if that would help. Yes, answering my own questions...
Anyone out there?
