Removing Dual Booted OS after HDD removal.

    Hi Everyone,
I have a Dell system here, Previously it had 3 Windows operating systems on two HDDs, Windows 7 Professional 64bit on the first, Windows 7 Professional 32bit and Windows XP on the second.
All was running well until the second HDD died, after removal however the boot option is still there for 7 pro and XP. Not a big problem but an annoying one all the same.

The working OS was the last to be installed

Any Ideas on how to remove? I am aware of the Bootmgr option but would like to avoid this if possible in favor of one less likely to brick my working OS.

    Thanks!

Rg97, you might try option 3 of the tutorial from this site, it may be right up your alley. That looks about as painless and trouble-free as I can tell. Here's the link:

Windows Boot Manager - Delete a Listed Operating System

    Keep us posted, Good Luck!

Thanks for the link, I took the first option and now no boot options. Now I can go back to unattended boots!
