    Adding of RAM


    Hi Good day!

    I am planning to buy additional RAM for 8gb 2666mhz make it 2x8gb.
    Would it be ok to add more ram based on the specs below.

    You need to check the MB manual to ensure you can fit it some have a max memory

    If you don't want to have memory problems, buy same brand, same model and number, and most important,same speed and timings.

    Why do you want to add more RAM to begin with?
    Are you having problems that you've already hunted down to be a RAM limitation specifically?

    I agree. I have 8G and never seen more than 5G in use.
