I have a BB 8320, and use blue-tooth on my net book no problem, when trying to pair a new device, just enter 0000, then the screen will show what is the code, you enter 0000, and now it's paired - done.
Then go into the device >properties> configure your new device added.
Hope that helps you jmart157 :)

    grimreaper,

I don't think you've read this thread. I get no prompt to enter a code on Windows 7 or Windows Vista.

I just plugged in my bluetooth module to my office computer (Windows XP). It self installed the drivers and worked perfectly. I entered four zeros on the computer, and then four on the phone. Everything installed properly. I'm going to try and rob the drivers from XP and use them under Windows 7, even though I doubt it will work.

I haven't yet, and no one else seems to know what to do or know a solution. I used my usb bluetooth on vista and windows 7, no success. in windows xp, no problem! IT WORKED PERFECTLY!

i copied the drivers from xp and the bluetooth exe.... no luck in getting them installed or used. ugh! i need a fix, especially for these remote company trips!

I have the same problem, i bought recently a CSR BT mini dongle, and it works perfectly on Windows XP, but when i try to use it in windows 7, the system doesn't prompt for a passcode. I think there is a problem with the BT management utility that comes with Windows 7.
