CHeck also the Support Downloads webpage for your computer model to see if it has Win7 64 bit drivers.

You'll want at least 4gb of RAM to run 64 bit providing it has a 64 bit processor which is strong enough.

You may want to consider 32 bit as it sometimes tends to be less of a hassle on older hardware.

Alright, I just ran the Upgrade Advisor.

Disregard the part about the rest result saying that I need more RAM because I purchased more ram as well. I just haven't installed it in the machine yet. Once I install the RAM my total ram should be 4GB ram.

Here's the driver for your D-link,

    D-Link Wireless 150 USB Adapter

Just click on the drivers link.

What model is your logitech quickcam?

It says known issues but we may be able to help with that.

Other than some of your software and you said you already have the ram

    it looks good to me.

Thanks for the link to the driver, I'll bookmark it. The web cam I'm not too worried about because I hardly use it.

Anyway, thank you very, very, very much for all your help and everyone who helped too. Just was so worried I had bought the wrong thing. Thanks again!!!!

I will attempt installing Windows 7 now and will write a comment once it's all properly installed. Thanks everyone!
