    resolution problem


    I am currently trying to install windows 7 in my hp computer but during the installation process the monitor is indicating that the resolution is out of range what does this mean and how can I go about it?

    Are using a old type monitor?

hello, I am using Windows 7 and Windows 2008 server(dual boot). My problem is that Windows 7 cant resolve DNS on its own but Windows 2008 server does, so that adds to my anxiety that why cant Windows 7 also do it on its own. ????

Resolution problem
in Graphic Cards

Hello, I used to run on 1440 x 900 using vista 32 bit. When I installed windows 7, it changed to Generic PnP Monitor and on Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. It won't allow me to change the resolution to 1440 x 900, the variable does not exist from 12x - 16x. Help, please? :cry: ~maplr4life
