InformationWe always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
& made the Startup Repair CD.

Since he said its using sysprep... I am assuming that he is using someones oem recovery discs!
okay I just shut my Acer off while it was installing sysprep - factory mode. and I am able to boot into windows, but everything is barebone and not many programs were successfully installed. because I stopped it obviously! so where do I go from here to fix this issue?
will the windows updates give me back my sysprep factory mode that I never finished installing during the restoration?
Are you using the Acer Recovery Partition, or Acer Recovery DVD?
or what?
If using recovery CD's or DVD's... perhaps one is damaged or scratched??? Try cleaning real well, then give it a go again. Worst time to discover one is damaged is when your system is down!
