installing windows 7 in new UEFI motherboard

I just upgraded my motherboard and cpu to

    asrock H77 Pro4-M mobo

    intel core i5 3550

the problem is I can't install windows 7 which I'm guessing is because of the UEFI but I can't be sure as this is my first time upgrading except for the storage more HDDs
I went into the UEFI menu and bothe the mobo and cpu were registered.
    I have 3 HDDs.
one of them has a win 7 installation from before the upgrade.
when I Put the installation disk in it always tries to boot for the hdd where win 7 is installed
I Disabled all 3 HDDs in the UEFI menu and turned the dvd dive into boot option 1

now when it boots it says restart and use the proper boot order

In the UEFI, enable the HD on which you want to install the OS; also make sure the DVD drive is the first boot option. (I'm not sure whether you tried this or not.)

Put the installation disk in the DVD drive... then boot the computer. It should boot from the disk or at least give you a message to press a key to boot from the disk. Then you'll be able to proceed with the installation.

I have already tried that but always tries to boot the win 7 installation before the upgrade even though I choose the dvd drive from the boot menu, even while doing this a windows error recovery screen comes up and it know that a recent hardware has been changed and says insert installation disc and restart which I can't do

Sorry I can't help more... never been in that situation where I couldn't boot from the DVD. Hopefully, one of the experts can give you an easier solution

But, if it were me, I'd put the HD with the Win7 installed in another computer and blow away the contents with a quick format. Then put it back in your system and see if that would let the computer boot from the install DVD. (Of course you would lose everything on that HD, but I's assuming you were going to do a new, clean install anyway.)

If you want to install to an MBR disk then remove EFI boot disk from BIOS boot order, set DVD drive first to boot followed by HD, unplug all other HD's, boot the WIn7 DVD, press Shift + F10 at first screen then run Disk - Clean and Clean All with Diskpart Command followed by the command "Convert MBR."

You should then be able to proceed with Install Now>Custom Install, use Drive Options to create and format partitions as you wish, or just click Next to let the installer do it for you and begin.

If this fails you can try UEFI install setting EFI Boot disk first to boot, converting target HD (all others unplugged always during install) with Clean Command followed by Convert GPT, then follow these steps: UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) - Install Windows 7 with

please explain in more detail as I'm not very competent at computers, especially the part " install to an MBR disk then remove EFI boot disk from BIOS boot order"

since I'm confused as to the exact steps

Enter BIOS setup by tapping the key given for that on first screen.

Find the tab which has Boot Order listings. Move EFI boot disk to last, set DVD drive to boot first, HD second.

Now boot the WIn7 DVD, access a Command Line by pressing Shift+F10 at first screen, run Diskpart Clean Command followed by the command Convert MBR then close Command Box and try install.
