Yes, you can reinstall Windows for the version that came with your PC.
See posts #3 and #7 about this.
The tutorial in those links has everything needed, including how to get a genuine Win 7 installation disc (for free), but you do need a valid Genuine Product key to activate it.
It's questionable if your current upgraded version that was installed by your technician is genuine and valid.

If your upgraded version is genuine and valid, you need to get the key to be able to reinstall that version and activate it.
Did you pay the technician for the upgraded version?
