Worked for me
I had similar problem and for some reason it wouldnt install to any of my HDs, it had nothing to do with the CD. I had to make another partition on one of my HDs and then it worked just fine. /shrugs

Did you receive a prompt for drivers? This almost always is a bad installer.
What was the exact error you received.
Always delete all partitions during the booted Custom Clean Install Windows 7 as pictured in Steps 7 and 8.
Idk if it could help or not but that problem happened to me and it was fixed I guess when I used CMD from my usb installation and I just offline my HD then restarted my notebook then my partitions where there.
