Where did you get your Win7 DVD & licence from?
from a computer store in the area. i followed the oem licensing requirements for it.
    Hi

Use your New DVD you have to make your USB stick.
    Using method 2.
You can add your drivers to the stick also.

What step in this tutorial do you get to?

How to Remove Linux and Install Windows XP

Have you set your HD to:
    MS-DOS (Active)

Check your installed BIOS version on the first bootup screen or entering BIOS Setup using the key given on that screen. Then look on the Support Downloads webpage for your computer model to see if there is a more recent version to download and install.

You can also try resetting the CMOS in the BIOS when you are there: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/tp/clearcmos.htm

I see you had Linus before. I would nuke the HD wth DBAN to make sure it is rid of that code.
What were the specific results for these troubleshooting steps given earlier?

    We never give up here.

BIOS Version is 1.0.0 and when I look on the kogan website there is no bios updates.

I am trying to download dban but having troubles doing this *(kind of embarrasing )
Got the zip file from the site but no exe in there... Trying to look again but sourceforge is not wanting to play atm.

Interesting sidenote. I stuckt he usb in my other laptop and it wouldn't boot it saying "ntldr is missing" Any idea what that is. I figure I could see if the usb worked on my laptop then I know that that side is all ok.

Wiped the cmos and still same error.
