How to replace Vista recovery partition

I know mate but what i was wondering is that if someone bought me a DVD in spain wouldn't work would it?

As the screenshot shows, once you've reset your region 5 times you cannot change it again even if you Restore, reinstall or move the drive to another computer. So there's no point in trying unless you can find a workaround for your model.

I would post your exact DVD drive model with the problem stated concisely in the title in our Hardware forum to see if anyone there knows of a workaround, as it falls outside the purview of Installation since reinstalling cannot help you.

Are there any further issues with your reinstall?

Thanks theog that was very helpfull not bothered at all now. But if a windows disc came from America would I have to change region or does it not matter with windows operating systems, office etc.
