    media center error


    I have windows prem 7 64 bit. trying to play video in windows media center (error cannot detect video in dvd rom)
    when I play it in windows media player I can play dvd I get audio but no image.

    any suggestions

    Now for starters run these

    SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    Disk Check I use Option 2 and use the /f and /r switches if necessary

    You could also run these too - in case
    https://www.malwarebytes.org/ use the free one but as you install watch out for the trial offer untick it as it will pester if you don't
    SUPERAntiSpyware | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware! free version is good enough and both are worth keeping alongside your own security.
