    7057 MCE issues...

since upgrading from 7048 to 7057 my MCE doesn't seem to retain information...when switching from one channel to another(mostly from regular to HD, have dual tuner)..it just locks up and I have to either re-boot and/or re-boot and redo tv signal setups OR remove and reinstall my
cable capture card...anyone else seeing these issues???

seems like in this build mce is just really bad . it tells me ( no tunner card installed).
i go into device manager and it says it installed .so i close mce and open it up again
then it finds the tunner. when playing movies/tv shows there is a (play all) button that worked fine with all the other builds. with this one it just hangs and then i have to
use (task manager) to end it.

Based upon those 2 comments I am sticking to build 7048.

I have the same card - my video looks horrible, but that is because I am sitting close up to my 22" monitor - from across the room in bed it looks pretty decent. I have also heard that nVidia drivers and Hauppauge cards don't play nicely together....

I *have* noticed, though, that my audio is slightly out of sync from the video on live TV stations feeding in on my analog cable - in fact, I swear that the audio is roughly 250-500 ms faster than the video....

But this has been there since Vista, IIRC....

Windows 7 64-bit build 7057 Media Player Library Issues

I'm having a problem with adding directories to MP 12 and I've traced it to Win7 build 7057 (maybe just the version of MP12 contained - I've haven't tracked that build number).

I can add directories to the libraries in the Library view of Explorer, but they do not show up as available in Media Player. If I add them in Media Player, that do not index and show the contents; also, if Media Player is closed and restarted, the ones I added through Media Player are gone from the list.

This is really bugging' me (no pun intended). Win7 build 7048 had a DLNA complaint server able to serve and transcode drv-ms and wtv files straight to my PS3, but had severe memory leak issues (eat up 4 gigs of RAM in about 8 - 10 minutes and restart the video) in the transcoding part. Build 7057 doesn't have the memory leak, but I can't add any of my custom directories to the libraries in Media Player.

I'm pretty convinced of this behavior. I've reinstalled build 7048 and 7057 several times each to confirm these bugs. I imagine it can be fixed with either some Registry change or rights alteration, but I'm stumped and Google'd out.

    Any ideas?

Things are look pretty good for me as well: 7068 is a good build.

I do have one problem. I use MP12 to stream MCE recordings out to my PS3. My older recordings, ones in the DVR-MS format work great! They are sorted under series and have the episode name available at the PS3.

However, newer recordings, ones with the wtv format, are not identified by series and are represented by the actual file name, not the episode name or even series name.

    Help! Any ideas?
