    Office Proffesional 2007

It seems to want me to have Microsoft .NET Framework to be able to download this. However, I do not know what to do.

Whenever I try to install Microsoft Office Proffesional 2007 onto my Win7 computer I get error 1935.

    Can anyone help me?

When it told you that it needed .net framework it would have specified which version. Different products often require different versions of .net framework and it is quite OK to have several different versions installed.

Read this article and particularly the reference to .net 2.0.

Error message when you try to install a 2007 Office program: "Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly component"

I have Office 2007 installed OK on mine so it should be OK.

Thanks for the help Brit. But I am still having trouble. When I try to install .NET Framework 3.5 it says that I need to use the "Turn Windows Features on or off" in the control panel. However, it specifies nothing so I am confused. When I try to install 2.0 it says I already have it on my computer and it does not show up in the uninstall programs part of the control panel.

Do you know what to do in this instance?

    Thanks.

I haven't the faintest I'm afraid. When I Google .net 3.5 installation fails in a Google search I get so many hits that it would take forever to find the solution.
Perhaps an Office group may help you with this.

    Hi Matt.
You can install reinstall net framework that comes with W7 from here Control Panel\Programs then click on turn windows features on or off. Scroll down to the item. You may need you installation DVD handy, if you have erased the msconfig folders.

Are you reading the thread properly. Darkassain's post 3 up states clearly that 3.5 is already installed in Win 7 and includes .net 2.0.
