    word wierd behaviour

when i use word in my account its not writing left to right as it should do in english and not even from right to left as some languages do i dont how to explain it but sometime it left right to left and then left to right and then sometime in the middle of sentence all by itself

when i click on the word paragraph options it dont show me the option left to right or right to left

this is only happening in my account but not in my son/daughter account

    this only happened recently

    Hi:

For starters, it would sure help to know: what version of Word is it and what architecture (32-bit or 64-bit)?

    Thanks,
    MM

    Hi:

    Thanks for the info.

It looks as if you are having a lot of trouble with your computer (9 open, working topics started in just the past few days)???
They sound like a mixture of both hardware and software problems.

If so, it might be less confusing & more efficient for you (and for everyone else) if you were to perhaps consider focusing on one or two high-priority issues first.

Having said that, I've never heard of the issue you describe. It sounds as if it could be a hardware issue with your keyboard. Perhaps try a different keyboard?

On the software side, you might try a repair of Office 2007.
This tutorial is for Office 2010, but I think the basic steps would be the same:
    Office 2010 - Perform Repairs

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,
    MM

Regarding your Word issue, help me better understand the problem. As I currently understand, when you begin typing a word ("Sevenforums" as an example) sometimes:

    • "Sevenforums" is written out left-to-right aligned to the LEFT page/column margin (thus expands left to right and "reads" left to right)
    • "Sevenforums" is written out left-to-right aligned to the RIGHT page/column margin (htus expands from right to left but "reads" left to right))
    • "Sevenforums" is written out left-to-right aligned from the CENTER of page/column (thus expands left AND right from the center and "reads" left to right)

    Is this correct?

no the word are always written left to right aligned to left page/column margin but not when in the middle

like if i write abcd def igh it is written as def abcd igh except that sometime it starts writing in the middle

Wierd indeed. I'm at a loss. As MM post above, try another keyboard and see what happens.
