I have a windows 7 Dell laptop and using USB modem for internet.

I would like turn my laptop as wifi router so that i can share the internet to my mobile devices.

Also, I heard that we can share the internet via that intel my wifi technology too.

Can somebody guide a way to achieve this?

There is more than one way to do this but all require that you are using a certified Windows 7 driver which installs the Msoft Virtual WiFi adaptor which is used to set up the hosted wireless network.

The real problem with this is that if you already have a wireless connection then why would you need to create an Ad Hoc network in the first place?

I guess if you were somehow limited to a single connection it might come in handy, or if you needed to amplify the signal. You can't share through an Ethernet connection, it only works wireless to wireless.

You can set this up using the command prompt or you can install the connectify software which makes it easier for some. The links below explains the details about setting this up, take your pick, the last one is a download for a virtual router if that's what you wanted. :)

Dual Band Systems don't support this for both Hotspots

I recently purchased a Dell Latitude 3450 laptop and wanted to create a Hotspot on it.

I created the hotspot, but using the netsh commands, the network created is accecible only to 5GHz receivers only or maybe 2.5 GHz receivers only.

I can see on the Adaptors page that one of the Wifi hotspot is started but other not;

Can anyone tell me how to start the another network?

I am using command netsh wlan start hostedetwork

I am using Xolo Q800 (Android 4.1.2 OS). However on other phones, the network is showing like on OnePlus One etc.
